FaithActs is a non-profit community service agency that serves the needs of children, youths, families and seniors in Singapore. FaithActs aims to reach out and impact the lives of people through the provision of programmes and services which meet community needs and the alleviation of social problems regardless of their ethnic, socio-economic and religious backgrounds. It provides life skill and value based programmes for youths, familities and serniors. Their programmes range from sports and adventure to the creative arts.

What we found unique about this organization was its creative arts programme that closely relates to our intention of spreading awareness through our Music Concert. Thus, we chose FaithActs to be our beneficiary.

Here's a little more about FAITHACTS CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMME.

Its an initiated programme which urges youths to pursue their dreams, be it singing, dancing, or even hands on art. With encouragement and constant moral support, youths are able to explore and realise their talents, as well as express their creativity in any aspect.

FaithActs Rockers is a mass dance programme which focuses on team effort to learn and master the steps needed for a dance item. The lyrics used in the dance are inspiring at the same time.

About Us

We are a humble group of 26 students from University at Buffalo, State University of New York, located at Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). As part of our music module (MUS 264 World Music) we are organising a concert called, MusiCares in the hopes of raising awareness for the work FaithActs is doing in the community as well as promoting volunteerism. We are also currently working with the legendary duo Mel and Joe who will be performing at the concert.
